Depicted in these 23 mural panels that grace our stairwell
is the history of Sullivan County from before 1836 to around the year 2000.
These panels were created by the late Joe McCarty, a very long-time member.
Joe passed away in 2017 just days short of his 103rd birthday.
The stairwell and its mural is dedicated to him.

Also on the stair risers are memorial plaques
dedicated to other well-known citizens of the area.
